To verify that the joints and contacts of the switchgear’s main circuit have been assembled and installed on site properly. The resistance of the main circuit shall be measured to ensure the proper condition of the current path.
The measurement of the resistance of the main circuit shall be made with Direct Current injection of the same phase of two adjacent panels and measuring the voltage drop across the panels.
